The 80's

I know that we are in the 2000's, but the 80's is the base of my childhood even though I grew up in the 2000's. We listened to 80's music, I played with rock em sock em toys, I loved all of the cool popping colors they had, and most of all I had the original/old Nintendo with mario. Thats sort of how I grew up as a 80's kid in a way and I still like all of the old music because of being exposed to it as a child. Its anything from the 90's to the 60's I love it and now a days with all of the new weird music people listen to my age is just annoying, plus I don't know more than half of the people/bands. I wish that I was born in the 80's because it was such a cool and revolutionary time for people. All of the original toys came out that were the best toys in the world that people still use today. The computer even came out in that era. And
Michael Jackson was and still is the most effective person in music from that time. With his all time hit song getting millions of records sold, no one has ever been able to beat that and was put in the Guinness World Records and still holds that record today. Now thats what I call Awesome!

McDonalds and how there food is bad for you

Mcdonalds is a very well known fast food restaurant and very American. You probably went there at one point or another to buy food for yourself or a happy meal for your kids. You may have heard many times from people that they are unhealthy and their food is gross, but they don't tell you what is actually in the "food". The "meat" that they use for the burgers is only 5% meat and that 5% is not even beef. What they do to create the patty is they use something called "pink slime" that is man made and comes out of a tube in a factory that workers put in a box to ship to fast food restaurants to be shaped into a patty. That 5% meat that I told you about comes from the sticky and spongy fat and tissue that is stuck to the animals bones that is pried off of the bone. Thus, that tasty fast food big mac that you have been looking forward to all weekend. When they are formed into patties, cooked, and frozen for shipping, they re-cook them and dip them into a blue solution to affect the taste of the "meat". This blue solution affects the brain into remembering that taste and affecting your brain into wanting more of it. It makes your brain crave it, even if you don't want to.

There fries are salty, greasy goodness in a bag right? Wrong! Most of the time they are undercooked and barley filled to the top of the cup so Mcdonalds can save an extra buck. The fries don't mold from too much preservatives. Thats right, it doesn't mold! EWWWWW!!!!!  This sicks me out more than the pink slime because potatoes (such in the form as a fry) are supposed to mold. Wendy's fries mold after about three days. If you don't believe what I say about them not molding, then you can try it yourself. Keep a Mcdonalds fry in a ziploc baggy or container of a sort and keep it to see if it molds. I did this test myself and I kept it for four years without it molding, but one of my parents accidentally threw it out, So I couldn't keep on the investigation.

A few of my favorite bible verses

One of my most favorite bible verses is Matthew 8:20. In it it says, "Jesus replied, 'Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the son of man has no place to lay his head'"
Even though Jesus was the son of the lord and was such a powerful man, he had no home to rest in. To me that says that no matter who you are we are all the same and can end up the same way without a bed. Even with no bed, he was not upset by this from his great faith to his father and that seems to be a little righteous to love and be giving even when you have nothing. As Jesus said this to his followers, he was letting them know that if they were to continue following him that they would have no place to rest their heads either, for Jesus doesn't.
Another that I find to be a very good verse is Matthew 7:17-20.17 "Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them." Because it says that like a tree, a person can't be good and have a bad heart disguised by a good one. And bad people can't be good and can't be changed and will be recognised by how their true personality and will always truly be bad and can not be good hearted.

There are some other verses that I also like, but I will share with you later.

The Eyeball

The color in the iris is made up of different fibers with chemicals that produce the color of your eye that you inherited from your parents. Only 1% of humans actually have a green eye color, but that is still about forty million people. The pupil is a hole in the eye that leads to the lens and is protected by our cornia. Blood vessels run through the optic nerve that connects to the eye socket. If it were not for the eye socket being attached to the skull in a certain way, then your eyes would constantly be falling out of your head from gravity. Kinda weird, huh?
Other than the actual facts that I just shared with you on here, there are a lot of body language that has a lot to do with our eyes. Our eyes can say a lot about how we feel to other people around us and we use them to communicate all the time. Narrowing our eyes shows that we are rebellious, angry, or ready to fight. When our pupils dilate, it means we like what see, being scared, and seeing someone you like or think is attractive. Having our eyes open slightly wide shows interest in what someone is saying. We all know that when we roll our eyes it shows disbelief and annoyance. We all want to look someone in the eye because it shows respect to the person you are talking to. Even animals do this. When for example a pet looks you in the eye its them showing you that they respect you and like you.

Thanksgiving at my house

I'm glad to know that Halloween is over and am ready to begin the important holidays worth celebrating with my family. To me halloween is for little kids to go and trick or treat in cute costumes and then gorge the their candy when the get home. I used to get such bad stomach aches when I was little because of how much candy I could eat in a hour.  Now Thanksgiving is coming up and that also means "Black Friday" and all the parents rushing around stores for great deals for when Christmas comes. This year black friday starts earlier than ever and that means that my family is eating thanksgiving turkey and apple pie for lunch. I never go out with the rest of, well everybody because I like to spend time at home with my dad. Every year when the whole family goes shopping, I stay at home with my dad and we watch movies while eating triscuits. A weird snack to eat during a movie, its a tradition I suppose. I usually don't get very far in the movie because my dad falls asleep into about half an hour into any movie you put in front of him, but still its fun to bond with him just being there. Anyway, the actual thanksgiving at my house is always relatively the same. We invite my close family on my mom's side and they come over, we start talking while the food is still being prepared and cooked, crack some jokes, and get to the the eating. It feels like every year we forget to go around the table and say what we are thankful for until I mention it. I feel that its very important to say what we are all thankful for in our lives and to realize what the meaning of life itself is about. And every year for thanksgiving me and my mom make from scratch an apple pie that we eat for a desert. A remember from when I was little, I would love to bake it with her and I still do and how we nibble the thinly sliced apples from the bowl, covered in a cinnamon sugar concoction. Its so good. All in all our family time is pretty peaceful and yet still very exciting at our get togethers.
